Manya and Arsh’s wedding at Royal Orchid Fort Resort in Mussoorie was shaped by a clear preference for warmth, simplicity and time with the people closest to them. The mountain setting offered a beautiful starting point, and the design followed its lead with a gentle palette and an open, unhurried feel.

The celebrations began with an intimate haldi. Its appeal lay in the closeness of the gathering and the ease with which everyone took part. The sangeet brought a more expressive mood, making space for music, shared memories and the emotion of seeing two families celebrate together.

For the wedding ceremony, pastel flowers and greenery framed a graceful mandap against the hills. Soft pinks and ivory complemented the couple’s wedding attire, while the floral arrangements gave the setting texture without overwhelming the view. It was a setting that held together in both the wide photographs and the details seen up close.

From the jaimala to the pheras, the ceremony remained the centre of the celebration. Our approach was to give those moments a considered setting, allowing Manya and Arsh’s personalities and their connection with family to come through naturally.
