Pragati and Anurag’s wedding at Royal Orchid Fort Resort unfolded against the hills of Mussoorie, with a different mood for each celebration. A relaxed mehendi lounge gave way to an evening of amber light; sunflowers brought brightness to the haldi, before ivory flowers and gold accents framed the wedding. Throughout, the setting made room for what mattered most: the couple, their families and the moments they shared.
A mehendi with a view
Pragati wanted something more inviting than a conventional stage. We designed a lounge where guests could gather, linger and take photographs together. A raised platform opened the composition to the Mussoorie hills and the Doon Valley beyond, making the landscape part of the celebration.
Floral-trimmed wicker seating, layered rugs and a pink mirror brought texture and an easy, informal charm. Each element helped the space feel like a place to spend time, with the flowers softening its edges and the mountain view lending a sense of openness.
Flowers and amber light
After dusk, the sangeet took on a warmer character. Cascading flowers framed the welcome installation, while glowing pathways and candlelit details carried guests into the evening. Floral arches connected the entrance and lounge areas, giving the celebration a coherent setting as daylight faded.

Sunshine, ivory and gold
The haldi was bright and playful, with hanging sunflowers and yellow accents above the family celebrations. For the wedding, the palette softened to ivory and gold. White flowers, gold vessels and lotus-shaped stands formed a sequence of delicate details, while the couple’s portrait beneath a floral canopy captured the quieter beauty of the evening.
Across the functions, the design changed with the occasion without losing its sense of place. The photographs bring together those larger settings and the smaller details that gave Pragati and Anurag’s Mussoorie wedding its character.
