Prerna & Alok

Prerna and Alok’s two-day wedding at Glenville Forest Resort & Spa in Dehradun brought together an elegant setting and a family celebration full of warmth. Their brief was clear: a wedding that felt personal, looked considered and left plenty of room for enjoyment.

The celebrations opened with a colourful floral mehendi. Flowers gave the daytime setting its character, creating a cheerful start to the gathering. As evening arrived, the mood shifted to a Pahadi sangeet, where music and dancing brought the families together and gave the festivities a distinctly local spirit.

For the wedding, the styling took a more formal direction. Ivory and gold details, floral framing and the glow of a chandelier created an elegant backdrop for the couple’s portraits. Prerna’s red bridal ensemble brought a rich contrast to the softer colours around her, while the setting drew the eye back to the couple.

Some of the most memorable details were personal ones. Alok had planned a surprise for Prerna, and their easy, playful connection came through in the celebrations. The warmth with which their families welcomed both guests and the working team made the experience feel especially close.
