Manika and Kaustubh’s wedding celebrations in Jim Corbett moved through a sequence of contrasting settings, each with its own colour, texture and atmosphere. Soft floral details introduced the tilak, warm light transformed the sangeet entrance, and a blue-pottery-inspired haldi brought a fresh, playful mood to the daytime celebrations.
A floral beginning
For the tilak, hanging wicker baskets were filled with pink, lilac and white flowers. Greenery, tassels and layered arrangements added detail overhead, creating a setting that felt light and welcoming. The design rewarded a closer look, with natural textures connecting the flowers to the surrounding space.
An entrance after dark
The sangeet called for a more dramatic arrival. An illuminated geometric walkway led guests past a personalised welcome sign, with candles and patterned flooring giving the entrance depth. The change in lighting marked a clear transition from the daytime setting and set the tone for the evening ahead.

Blue, yellow and family celebrations
The haldi drew on the colours and decorative language of blue pottery. Blue drapes and hanging details framed the gathering, while yellow outfits brought a vivid contrast. The photographs show a lively celebration, with family members dancing and joining the couple in the open space.
For the wedding portrait, the mood softened again. Ivory drapes, flowers and chandeliers framed Manika and Kaustubh in their wedding attire. Warm light picked out the embroidery and jewellery, giving the image a quiet elegance after the movement and colour of the earlier functions.
